Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra player,Member of the Tokyo Brass Quintet,Special part-time lecturer in the music course at Totsuka High School in Yokohama.
Born in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture. Started playing the tuba when he was in junior high school. 2002 Entered the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts; 2003 Performed at the Asian Music Festival; 2006 Selected for the 32nd annual Geidai Chamber Music Festival; 2006 Participated in the Japan-Russia Student Forum, a Japan-Russia youth exchange programme held in Russia. 2009 Awarded the Excellence Prize at the 15th Okiden Sugar Hall Newcomers' Concert Audition, 2012 Selected for the 3rd prize at the Moscow Conservatory Tchaikovsky Memorial International Competition and awarded the Mirafon Special Prize. Studied tuba under Shigeo Takesada and Eiichi Inagawa. Studied chamber music under Mineo Sugiki, Kozo Moriyama, Hiroshi Yamagishi, Satoshi Kamiya and Eiichi Inagawa. He is currently a tuba player in the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra and the Tokyo Brass Quintet, and a special part-time lecturer in the music course at Totsuka High School in Yokohama.
