Johannes Mimler

Johannes Mimler is a versatile brass musician, mastering the trombone, flugelhorn, and tenor horn with great musical expression. He received his formal training at renowned music universities and successfully completed his studies in 2024. During this time, he became a member of the German Army Band in Ulm, where he has since performed as a tenor horn player in the symphonic wind orchestra of the Bundeswehr. In addition to his military music career, Johannes is a permanent member of the well-known ensemble Berthold Schick & Seine Allgäu 6. He also showcases his artistic versatility with the group 4erlei, which is dedicated to innovative and diverse brass music. With technical skill, stylistic range, and musical sensitivity, Johannes Mimler enriches the German brass music scene in many ways.
