Principal player of the New Japan Philharmonic
Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music. Awarded 3rd prize in the tuba section at the 5th Philip Jones International Competition (France). Winner of the 2nd prize in the tuba section at the 43rd International Instrumental Competition Markneukirchen (Germany), released solo album 'Eternal' on fontec, 'Koprush 60 Exercises' and 'Tuba Pieces' on B-Music. Studied tuba under Eiichi Inagawa and Ryosuke Kashiwada. Currently Principal Tuba Player of the New Japan Philharmonic. Member of the Japan Tuba Soloists, Zurasian Brass and bottom's bells. Part-time lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts, Kunitachi College of Music, Kurashiki Sakuyo University and Heisei College of Music. Vice-chairman of the Japan Euphonium Tuba Association.
