Born 1975 in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music. Shobi College of Music and completed postgraduate studies at Tokyo University of the Arts. Studied tuba under Eiichi Inagawa, semi-finalist in the tuba section of the 2003 Philip Jones Brass Competition (France), winner of the Excellence Prize in the brass section of the 2005 Nerima Ward Newcomer Audition. He has performed with the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, Pacific Philharmonia Tokyo, Tokyo New Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Universal Philharmonic Orchestra, Theatre Orchestra Tokyo, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, Chiba Symphony Orchestra, Gunma Symphony Orchestra, Yamagata Symphony Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, Shizuoka Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra, Solo recitals in Tokyo in February 1997 and in Tsuruoka, Yamagata in May 1997. After working as a commissioned musician at Toho Gakuen School of Music and as a member of the Zurasian Brass, she is currently a member of Tomomi Nishimoto & Illuminato Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Chamber Orchestra, Pro Wind 023, Higashi, Honma, Kami-Unten Trio, Brass Fantasista. Part-time lecturer at the Junior College of Ueno Gakuen University.
